Alex has over 35 years’ experience of retail property leasing & asset management as a former Director of Churston Heard and asset manager at both ING Real Estate and Bridehall.

Alex has managed a wide range of shopping centres in his role at Ellandi, including overseeing major capital projects of refurbishment and redevelopment as well as improvement to the tenant mix and profile across each scheme for clients including Tristan Capital Partners and HIG. Most recently he has led the complex transition of the intu Merry Hill Estate into lender ownership, driving business plans for a multi-million regeneration programme and relaunch.

Living in rural Hertfordshire gives Alex the opportunity for his enjoyment of the outdoors as an antidote to the pace of the business training in woodland management and appreciating the fresh air.

Andrew was educated in South Africa and has been working in the UK since 2008.   

Andrew is CIMA qualified and has more than 20 years experience working in finance.

He has worked in both practice and industry and has experience in various industries, notably retail, hospitality and property.

Senior Management Accountant

Al Zinah is a dedicated and detail-orientated accounting professional with over 15 years’ experience.  As the senior accountant in the finance team, she leads many of our long-term trusted relationships. Al Zinah completed her training in Mauritius before joining Moore Stephens Chartered Accountants Firm in the UK.

Prior to joining Ellandi in 2015, Al Zinah has worked for Brompton Asset Management and Fleming Family and Partners, before moving to Real Estate at Langham Hall.

When not glued to a computer screen, she enjoys cooking and spends her time with her husband and two kids in East London where she lives.

Office Manager

Ben has recently relocated from Oxfordshire. Starting his career as an IT apprentice, he spent a total of seven years providing support to customers and then co-ordinating a team of eight. Keen for a change, Ben spent two years working and travelling round Australia. Joining Ellandi in 2022, Ben is new to the industry and is taking on a new role as Office Manager. Sharing core values with Ellandi, he is passionate about creating an even more sustainable workplace for all staff, both in the office and at home. Outside of work, Ben enjoys playing football and is a big Chelsea fan.

Investment Analyst

Bryan relocated from Cape Town, South Africa to the UK to continue his career as an investment analyst. As a member of the investment team, his curiosity, coupled with his analytical way of thinking has set a solid foundation for his involvement in a wide range of retail projects within Ellandi. He has previous experience as a fund accountant, specialising in traditional assets and most recently as an equity analyst providing extensive coverage across multiple sectors within the JSE. 

In 2018, he co-founded a real estate investment company in the Stellenbosch region of the Western Cape which focuses on student accommodation.

Bryan is a keen sportsman with a particular interest in golf and cricket and harbours a love-hate relationship with Arsenal Football Club.

Director, Development

Brooke is an experienced Development Manager, who brings key insight drawing from a background in Commercial Investment, Asset Management and Construction Consultancy over the last 10 years. Brooke specialises in the strategy and delivery of large-scale repurposing and redevelopment projects, with a keen understanding of working within occupied sites.

Brooke joins Ellandi and forms part of the Development Management team. Focused on working with Ellandi’s private and public sector assets to provide meaningful regeneration to UK communities.

Senior Management Accountant

Carolyn has returned to Ellandi as a Corporate Management Accountant following maternity leave in 2021. She assists the Head of Finance in the robust financial management of the Ellandi Group, ensuring timely, accurate and relevant financial reporting which provides the basis for informed management decisions.

Since moving to the UK in 2012, Carolyn has worked in various fund and management accountant roles within infrastructure and commercial real estate, including Amber Infrastructure, LaSalle Investment Management and MAMG Infrastructure Asset Management. 

Carolyn lives in North West London with her husband, daughter and family dog. She enjoys reading, walking and spending time with family and friends.

General Manager

Charlotte joined Ellandi midway through 2021 as General Manager to lead the development of the internal operations of the business. She brings with her over 15 years of international experience in customer services, logistics, operations and office and HR management in private and public sector roles. She aims to support the business' operational excellence whilst keeping Ellandi's culture at the heart of our business practices. Charlotte is passionate about Ellandi working towards B-corp accreditation, office and home working evolutions and streamlining processes and working practices.

Director, Asset Manager

Christina joins us from Hines where, from 2017 she oversaw the asset management of a shopping centre, mixed use, out of town and high street assets in both Scotland and England, including a large scale retail park redevelopment project.  Prior to this she worked at Workman LLP in a property management role for four years to Associate Level Managing a mixture of shopping centres, out of two and mixed use assets.   During her time at Workman she was part of the Health and Wellbeing focus group which is also passion of hers.

Chief Operating Officer & Head Of Finance

David joined Ellandi in May 2021 as Interim Head of Finance bringing with him almost 25 years' experience in the financial services sector. After reading Economics at Cambridge University, David spent 12 years at Deloitte, including three years in New York, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). From 2012 to 2015 David was Deputy CEO and CFO of a social enterprise microfinance business in Zambia. Most recently, David spent over four years at Brewin Dolphin, including a year based in Dublin as Finance Director of Brewin Dolphin Wealth Management Ireland. 

Away from the office David is a Governor of two schools and a Non Executive Director of a West London Credit Union.

Senior Asset Manager

Harry joined Ellandi in May 2022 as part of the Asset Management Team where he works on shopping centre assets across the UK.

Prior to Ellandi, Harry spent almost six years as a Leasing Agent at Green and Partners. Here his time was spent advising a broad range of clients on the leasing and letting of high street and shopping centre assets across the UK, as well as providing investment and strategic advice. 

Harry graduated from the University of Reading in 2016 and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2018.

Harry lives in South West London and enjoys spending time at music concerts, cycling and watching rugby.

Associate Director, Development

Holly is a Chartered Surveyor with four years' experience across development, asset management and investment. She joined Ellandi from Aviva Investors where she worked across asset classes and with a focus on development investment. At Aviva Holly was able to develop her strong analytical capabilities to help inform investment decisions.

Holly is passionate about delivering real sustainable change for communities in town centres across the UK and is a member of the BPF where she enjoys participating in the BPF Futures High Street Adaptation Working Group.

Marketing Consultant

Lorraine is an experienced digital marketing expert with proven communications experience.   Originally brought into the business in 2018 to cover a marketing manager maternity role, she returned in 2021 to handle corporate communications and social media for Ellandi.   

Using her skills in the digital space and her strong software proficiency, she works closely with the Director of Marketing to develop the corporate brand and narrative, Communication and PR, and manage Ellandi’s corporate profile and reputation as the company grows and transitions into new sectors.  

She is an excellent communicator and team player that delivers projects on time and budget.

Lorraine lives in SW London and enjoys an outdoor lifestyle, having recently taken up road cycling.

Mark is an award-winning entrepreneur and investor in town centres, co-founding Ellandi in 2008 with Morgan. 

Over the last 25 years he’s worked for both owners and occupiers of town centre spaces and is an active advocate for the future of our high streets. He’s a commentator on town centre issues in both industry and national media, including The Times, FT and BBC. At Ellandi Mark leads our repurposing projects and strategic delivery.

In 2019 he proudly represented the retail and leisure property industry as President of Revo and in 2020 was appointed as Chair of the High Street Task Force.

He lives in Balham with his wife Louisa, two teenage kids and a cockapoo and is an L2 qualified ECB cricket coach.

Investment Analyst

Matt joined the Research and Analytics team at the beginning of 2021 after spending over 2.5 years at CACI consulting a wide range of Real Estate clients on their strategies. This allowed Matt to develop a detailed understanding of the capabilities of data in the Real Estate market and how various data sets can be used in creating effective, asset management, investment, development, and marketing strategies. In order to enhance his understanding of the market, Matt is currently studying a part-time master’s in real estate at Henley Business School in Reading. The experience alongside Matt’s further studies helps Ellandi put data at the heart of decision-making.  Outside work and his further studies, Matt is a keen sportsman and can be found on the rugby field playing for KCS Old Boys.

Assistant Management Accountant

Meg has recently relocated from Manchester, where she worked in the accounts department for over four years at Kamani Property Group.  She has joined the Ellandi family as an Assistant Management Accountant.  Meg started her finance career 10 years ago, and has worked in various roles, gaining her AAT Qualification, and is currently studying towards a CIMA qualification. 

At Ellandi Meg supports the team in the financial management of the Ellandi investments.

Senior Management Accountant

Michael is a qualified Charted Accountant with over 10 years’ experience working in finance. Prior to working at Ellandi, Michael started his finance career working in a small accountancy practice, before moving into the Real Estate Fund Administration space, and later at a leading UK property developer.

At Ellandi, Michael focuses on managing the finances of the Shopping Centres within his portfolio.  This includes budgeting, cash flow management and delivery of other core financial reporting requirements to clients.  He is focused on making a positive and valuable contribution to all stakeholders involved within his role at Ellandi.

Co Founder

Prior to establishing Ellandi with Mark in 2008, Morgan built a high profile investment track record and strong, longstanding contacts with the REIT management community, leading investment banks and lenders. His exposure to distressed investment drives Ellandi’s successful model.

Morgan began his career at NM Rothschild where he worked in both their property and their debt restructuring business. Prior to establishing Ellandi, Morgan worked as an investment banker. He was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank where he led the UK property finance business with responsibility for both loan origination and distribution, largely via CMBS. He also established the DB loan servicing platform that grew to manage €16bn of loans.

Assistant Management Accountant

Olesya is Assistant Management Accountant at Ellandi having joined Ellandi as Accounts Assistant in the beginning of 2019. 

At Ellandi Olesya works mainly on corporate side of business, as well as supporting Management Accountants on the clients’ side. In addition to her Bachelor Degree in Economics, she continues studying towards Accounting Qualification and actively implements gained knowledge to her day-to-day work.

Olesya is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. She lives in West London with her husband and two daughters and volunteers her time at St Mary’s Ukrainian School in London as a Treasury.

Senior Asset Manager

Piers joined Ellandi in June 2023 as part of the Asset Management Team where he works on shopping centre assets across the UK.

Prior to Ellandi, Piers spent six years as a Leasing Manager at Hammerson. Here his time was spent negotiating deals across multiple assets in the portfolio including Brent Cross and The Oracle, ending his career working on the development asset of Croydon.

Piers lives in South West London. A mad sportsman on the weekends, enjoying Rugby, Running and Cycling. During downtime, he spends time in the Alps or on the Beach. He is also a budding gardener!

Accounts Assistant

Rachel is a recent university graduate with a degree in Economics and Accounting from Brunel University London. She is in the process of completing her ACCA qualification with the desire of becoming fully qualified.

Her focus at Ellandi, will be working within the finance team as an Accounts Assistant to help the team efficiently and effectively deliver the financial functions of the organisation. She is currently completing the management accounting modules of her ACCA and is keen to get stuck into the key management accounting aspects within her role at Ellandi.

Rachel is based in Sutton, Surrey. Outside of work she enjoys watching a variety of sports and going out to social events with friends. She is also an avid video game player and participates in many group forums and tournaments.

Asset Manager

Originally from St. Lucia, Robin is a graduate of the University of Reading (BSc Real Estate) and recently joined Ellandi as a junior member of the asset management team. He wasted no time and jumped straight into the industry, from sitting on Ellandi’s internal vision board, to becoming a standing member of the Urban Land Institute’s diversity and inclusion committee and being selected as one of EG’s Future Leaders to watch. He supports various asset managers across their portfolios and hopes to progress in his role as he completes further qualifications.

Robin is passionate about both interior design and placemaking and hopes to leave a lasting impact on the assets in which he’s involved, always keeping our vision in mind.

If not found on a beach somewhere, Robin can be found galivanting across London or exploring the rest of the UK.

Director, Asset Management

Ruth is an experienced asset manager and RICS member with previous asset, development and investment management roles at LaSalle Investment Management and Sovereign Centros. 

At Ellandi she heads of Public/Private Partnerships and is a leading voice on local government interventions in town centres. She is playing an active role across the country in delivering real change for Local Authorities. Ruth also chairs Ellandi’s internal Vision Board, which holds the business to account and drives our vision forward. Ruth is a vocal advocate of our town centre's social and environmental impact and for diversity and inclusion in the property industry.

She is a member of Revo’s Regeneration Committee, helping shape the repurposing agenda across the UK. 

Ruth lives in Kent and is happiest with a book and a glass of wine or on a cold, wet beach with her lurcher, Merv.

Project Advisor

Dick is now well into his 6th decade in the industry. Previously Estates manager at Norwich Union/Aviva for 25 years, then a partner at Knight Frank, followed by running his own companies and now in a continuing role as a consultant to Ellandi.

He has extensive experience in investment, development, development funding and asset management accrued over the years in a number of countries. Despite this his spiritual home remains the City of london and France where his granddaughters and family live.

He is a Freeman of the City of London and is also a consultant to the RSPCA (an interesting role).

In his free time he plays golf badly tries to keep fit with some cycling.

Head of Research & Analytics

Sam leads all research related activities within Ellandi, supplying the insight that supports strategic, investment and project decisions. 

Over the last 20 years Sam has worked on behalf of a wide range of asset managers, investors, developers, retailers and local authorities, helping them understand the current and potential performance of commercial space and has developed a deep understanding of the consumer trends that drive performance and the resultant financial implications. Over recent years she has become increasingly interested in the wider impact that assets can have on their local community and is looking forward to working with the team to develop a greater understanding of how to measure this.  

Outside work, Sam lives in Oxfordshire with her partner Shaun, two nearly teenage boys and two rescue dogs. In what remains of her spare time, Sam enjoys a variety of exercise classes and is a passionate advocate of the benefits of exercise to both physical and mental health.

Director, Asset Management

Simon is a Director within the Asset Management Team who has over 15 years’ experience in UK Retail Asset Management, Investment, Property Management and Finance. Since joining Ellandi in 2015 he has acted as client lead for a number of private equity funds, banks, and family trusts on a diverse mix of UK retail property. 

He specialises with distressed assets and works with leading insolvency practitioners managing cashflow and building lender exit strategies.

A keen sportsman he enjoys playing cricket, golf and is a member of the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC).

When not spending time with his wife Lisa, son Eddie, French Bulldog Rosie, and cat Luna he will be up in the early hours of the morning watching his beloved Brisbane Lions in the AFL or in the terraces at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Signal Iduna Park with Spurs and Borussia Dortmund.

Property Team Executive Assistant

Stacey joined Ellandi in 2023 as the Property Team Executive Assistant. She has over 5 years of experience in providing high level support to Directors and Heads of Asset Management.

Before joining Ellandi, she spent 3 years working as the Team Co-Ordinator for the Retail Property Team at Network Rail. She was responsible for supporting the two Heads of Asset Management, Property Director and Head of Retail, while also providing executive support to the wider team of 80 people. In 2020, she was awarded a certificate for Customer Service Excellence for always going the extra mile for her colleagues and external stakeholders.

Stacey will always have her team’s best interests at heart and strives to make a difference. She will do what she can to improve ways of working and streamline processes to help build on efficiency.

Stacey lives in Aylesford with her boyfriend. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, long country walks and discovering new flavours of gin.

Director, Head of  Asset Management

Tim is an expert asset manager with over 15 years’ experience working across the UK and Europe with private and public sector clients. 

Before working at Ellandi, Tim was partner at Lathe Investments and Head of Retail and Leisure at Addington Capital. At Lathe, he acquired and managed a portfolio of shopping centres in the UK and Sweden. In 2014, Lathe Investments was bought by Ellandi and Tim joined the business as part of the asset management team. Tim advised Stockton Borough Council on their strategy of purchasing both shopping centres in Stockton-on-Tees to reposition and transform their town centre.

Tim is passionate about retail and making it relevant for its communities. Outside work, Tim proudly represents the mighty Frant Cricket Club, enjoys skiing and is a patron of Crowborough Rugby Club.

Associate Director, Asset Management

Tom joined Ellandi in June 2021 to take on an Asset Management role and is currently working on Midsummer Place in Milton Keynes. 

Pre-Ellandi, Tom qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2013 and spent time as an Estates Manager at Tesco, before moving to Cushman & Wakefield. Whilst there, he progressed to lead their retail Lease Advisory team, advising a range of both landlords and occupiers of predominantly shopping centre retail, but also acting on High Streets and Retail Parks.

His key interests include the future of retail, and the way physical stores interact with online sales. He was involved in the creation of a new service line advising on this topic in 2019/20.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys sports and spends most Saturdays playing for his school’s Old Boys’ football team.

Director, Debt

Tom has over 10 years' of experience in commercial real estate primarily focused on acquisitions and disposals. He began his career at Jones Lang LaSalle working in their Retail Advisory team before moving to LaSalle Investment Management where he worked on the management of a number of UK pension funds. He has subsequently held acquisition roles at Dunedin Property and Pradera. Over the course of his career, Tom has successfully worked on transactions totalling €2.5 billion across continental Europe and the UK and all major commercial sectors.

Tom joined Ellandi in 2021 and forms part of the Investment team.

He lives in Berkshire with his wife Rae, twin daughters Eliza and Ophelia. Outside of work he enjoys cycling and golf.

Victoria is a senior and highly experienced commercially minded marketing and communications professional. A destination marketing expert, Victoria joins us after nine years with Queensberry, where she worked on several high-profile mixed-use development projects across health, education, offices, residential, F&B, leisure and retail sectors on behalf of public and private sector clients. A confident strategist who likes to be hands-on, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. A people manager, an inspiring leader, and a creator who motivates and develops teams to consistently push boundaries.

Victoria is responsible for developing the corporate brand and narrative, Communication and PR, and managing Ellandi’s corporate profile and reputation as the company grows and transitions into new sectors.

Victoria is passionate about health and well-being, with movement and meditation being part of everyday life. She also likes good coffee and homemade cake.
