Sovereign Housing, purchased the shopping centre in 2022 with the aim of redeveloping the centre to create a mixed use scheme comprising of over 350 new homes, retail and F&B on the ground floor. The town centre transformation will reduce the oversupply of retail, creating a modern and vibrant town centre.


Ellandi were originally instructed to assist Sovereign with their due diligence and to create a Vacant Possession Strategy for the asset. We have subsequently been retained as Asset Manager, working closely with Sovereigns AM and development team, as we implement the VP plan and restructure the various leases to facilitate the future redevelopment of the site.


The town centre transformation will reduce the oversupply of retail and introduce a mixed-use scheme comprising of over 350 new homes, retail and F&B on the ground floor. This will create a modern and vibrant town centre.
