Bloomfield Shopping Centre and Retail Park is a dominant retail scheme in Bangor (Northern Ireland) which was developed in 1992 with refurbishment work carried out in 2001 and an extension completed in 2002. The scheme has several national retailers including Marks & Spencer, Next, T K Maxx, Boots, Tesco, River Island, Superdrug, Tim Horton's, Starbucks and JD Sports. 

Ellandi’s mandate was to reinvigorate this struggling retail park in a highly competitive location. Building on new completed leases with the likes of TK Maxx, CEX, Pavers and B&M, we were able to improve the centre’s standing in the retail hierarchy in NI by letting up the vacant space in the Tesco mall which was acting as a drag on the asset and to create some further value add initiatives in both the centre & car park/ retail park. 

The project successfully re-anchored the park with an increased NOI and enabled us to replace some of the previous tenants with the likes of Sports Direct and Next, further adding to the diverse mix of retail.
